I’ve been visiting a many a place and this by far has my heart overall out of them all so far. It’s insane as well since this place is a big part of my life in that I’ve lived around here my whole life and never have witnessed the beauty and magic of this place.
An amazing place to view night sky in Michiana area. One only hopes that everyone in the area does follow more night sky friendly lighting policies. My only issue with the place was the lights at the parking lot and the driveway which is right behind the area designated for the sky viewing, at times and most of the times it interferes with the night vision! Hope something could be done to fix it and make it more night sky friendly.
Beautiful park! And they have an area set up for star gazing.
It’s fine. Main trail is mostly just walking along a corn field. Colors are great…but they are great everywhere right now. I guess it’s Michigan so this is as good as it gets. Thinks this place is for MTN biking. Not hiking or dogs as much.
An incredible place for a long walk. While it has shorter loops, if you walk the 2 longest loops it will add up to 6 miles. That might sound daunting, but it’s enjoyable for an enthusiast.
