This is an UNDEVELOPED park people! At some point in the future it will be developed more, amenities added, etc. For now it works GREAT as an unofficial dog park! There is a low fence around the entire property. The County(?) mows it fairly regularly too. Enjoy it for what it is! Some time in the future the County(?) will have meetings asking for input from the public as to how to develop it further. But that may not happen for years.

this place is horrible. Nobody is there to park my car for me and the lot is just grass. My feet got wet on the grass walking around and that was horrible. Its all fenced in and feels like a 2 acre prison cell. There was only enough spaces for 3 or 4 cars to park and no valet like I said earlier. Ground is flat and rather non appealing to people who like bumps and mounds.I had to pick up my own trash there! Can you believe it? I just could not throw my trash on ground and have someone do it for me. No air conditioning on hot days and during winter when its cold it stays cold there too!! No bathrooms available with hand air dryers available!!I deserve more LOL

It’s just a grubby open field.and my dogs LOVE IT! No shade. Space for 3 cars to park. But, it’s super fun and if u have a big dog or little dog it’s almost always empty..I live close so I walk my shi tsu girls and they have a blast. Unpretentious and easy.

This is a quiet spot to bring your pups for a quick run. Nice place to throw the ball for your dogs or kids. It’s a field basically. There’s a turn-in, back out parking area. It’s small. It’s one of those places you drive by and decide to let the dogs run-it-out for a few, or a place to stop and text for those who don’t text & drive (kudos). Please note it’s not fully fenced, so if you have a dog who likes to sniff their way out of places, or runs away… This probably isn’t the best place to go!! For mature dogs only!!

I am not sure if I was even at the same park. This “dog park” was such a complete disappointment that I was super glad I didn’t bring my dog. Have you ever been driving with a dog, big or small, barking in your ear as excited pups tend to do until you stop?? That is exactly what Luke would have done if he had been with me. I say this because Vydra Park was a joke. The only difference between this dog park and others is EVERYTHING! There is no where to park and before you know it you can easily end up on some ones private driveway trying to make a 3 pt turn before anyone walks out. The “park” itself consists of about an acre (yes, I admit, I am terrible with numbers but I’ll find out} of land that has not been mowed and so its basically a foot long field of dried weeds and stickers. NO shade to be had and worst of all, there isn’t any water nevermind doggie bags. SO, that’s what it doesn’t have…And I never did end up finding the 3 parking spaces it supposedly has!Makes me wonder if donating a field to a dog park gives you a tax write off? You never know…. Because certainly, any real dog lover would not refer this problem field to their fur baby friends?!
