Great place for a birthday and relax. Lost one star because the swings for grown ups are not going to last. When theres several adults swinging the entire frame that holds it all together sways and creeks. I imagine it will be taken down for safety concerns. Or rebuilt stronger.
Good little spot for swimming, it’s shallow water and has a sandy little beach so great for the kids. Fishing is good too, saw one guy with a cast net full of mullet.
Updated: we visited here again. Nice and sunny weather 🌞. A good size play ground, clean bathroom, shower/wash, and several picnic areas.Although it was a rainy day, it’s a nice and clean park in the neighborhood. People are friendly. Perfect for kids and picnics!
This is a fairly large park with a lot of amenities such as men’s and women’s facilities, a boat ramp, fishing pier, living shoreline, several gazebos with grills and a nice children’s play area. The grass is kept mowed and there are plenty of benches and shaded picnic tables accessible via a nice brick-paved walkway. The parking and paved walkways offer handicap friendly access. I recommend Florida Park if you are looking for a quiet place to relax without the noise of a busy road.
First time I have been there, very peaceful, beautiful. Very well maintained. A lovely place to take children swimming, fishing and picnics.
