The park closes during the summer from 8-3 to the public for summer camp. I see no reason why you should close a public playground. This is primary time for young toddlers to play.

Big park, the kids playground is a bit outdated and what bothers me most is that the park closes on holidays, when the kids r home and during the summer months they close is off for a local camp. And this is really the only park in the neighborhood. Also the back road by railroad is horrible w big holes (kids fall there all the time) Given how much we pay in taxes I would’ve expect more availability and more parks in the area, maybe one day they will add something to the lords woods, aka water company forest left overs, give the public a section among the trees please!

Overall, it’s a nice quiet atmosphere to play in. Within walking distance to food stores if you get hungry or thirsty .
