Elk Rapids Sandbar
Elk Rapids Sandbar is a beautiful and family-friendly beach area featuring crystal clear, clean water and sandy shores. My wife and I explored the quaintly beautiful and relaxing, Elk Rapids Sandbar!
The water was crystal clear and cold. We went to the left of the more heavily populated area, nearer to the sandbar that people were actively playing and enjoy themselves on which was super cool to see!
We enjoyed a delicious local pizza 🍕 from, The River Street Market! We had the Big Mike and The Greek wrap 🌯; which were beyond phenomenal, if you are in the market for a local lunch/dinner that is beyond fantastic, this is a spot for you!
Overall, an amazing, relaxing beach 🏖️area with nearby tables/benches to sit at, bathroom area and super pretty downtown area! A++ experience we can’t wait to come back soon!!!
Went at night, just a pit stop on the way home, but it was very clean and has lots of extra activities like tennis, basketball, volleyball. We will be returning for a day trip!
