Such a beautiful waterfall which anyone of any ability can enjoy. The falls can be enjoyed from the top or there’s a paved trail to enjoy nature leading to the bottom or walk the 1.2 mile loop.

The falls are amazing. A large part of the falls is created by water coming out of the rock about halfway down the drop. There’s a 1.1 mile loop hike around the falls with 170 ft. altitude change which was very nice.

Overall, Burney falls was a really nice place to go. Very peaceful minus no soap in the bathrooms. No way to dry your hands from the porta potties really stank cuz the bathrooms were closed up top down by the lake. It was very nice. I would recommend anybody going through there or on vacation to stop and check it out

The experience was amazing. I went on the memorial day weekend and it was super packed I the first half of the day so I went to Lassen volcanic park n went to Burney in the evening when half of the crowd was gone.Always avoid holiday weekends and even if u go on a holiday weekend, go after 4 o clock. There is sunlight till 7-8 o’clock. The path to the falls is stroller friendly but you will encounter a couple of steps thrice on the way down to the falls. At the bottom there is a small area where u can park the stroller n go to the falls.Loved the experience. Don’t take camping chairs, there is no place to use them at the bottom of the falls. We carried it to the bottom but could not use it. If you are planning to stay for sometime at the falls take water n snacks with you. There is a restaurant near the parking lot inside the park, you can buy it from there or bring it from home.Toilets were very clean.
