What a hidden gem. I had an excellent spot, right near the lake. Full hookups, nearby bathroom and shower, for NULL a night. RV dump station on the way in or out. I was there the Thursday before Labor Day weekend, and the place was pretty much empty. I will find my way back here for a longer stay.

The cabin was clean as were the restroom and showers. Our only complaint is that they should have a playground for kids as there really isn’t much to do there if the wind is too strong for activities on the lake.

Had site 27. Level side to side if you hug all the way over to passenger side when backing in. Electric and water. Gravel pad. No shade. Overall good experience and would stay again if in the area. Good Verizon service.

Unity Lake State Park was so lovely. We stayed a week in a cabin and frankly didn’t want to leave. It was quiet, comfortable, clean, secure, and beautiful. The hardest part was the bathrooms, which were a distance away. At night there was a wall of bugs to get through to walk in and out of the showers or bathrooms because bugs were drawn to the lights. Uck. Ice and wood available on-site. The town of Unity has a very small market, but we went to Prairie City for gas and John Day for groceries. Saw a lot of wildlife and loved exploring the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. Definitely will be back to this location.

We grabbed one of 3 first come first served sites here as we didn’t have a reservation. What an unexpected pleasure. This is a clean, quiet well kept park. It’s pretty remote (off highway 26) so maybe that’s why it didn’t seem that busy. In any case I hope we stay there again. We had water and power for the out of State rate of NULL.00 and they have a dump station. There is a short easy nature hike we walked from end to end. You can find it behind the restroom building. Didn’t check out the restrooms or showers, sorry.
