This is a nice public park in Unity Maine. It offers a nice boat launch to get your boat in the water. Also a great place to fish or enjoy water sports. There are quite a few picnic tables to have a lakeside picnic and there is an out house. It is accessible by cars and trucks but also by atvs , utvs and snowmachines. We take our side by side there a lot. You can ride to uhop and pick up food then enjoy it at the pond with nice views. The park is only maybe .5 miles from Uhop. There are lots of species of fish in unity pond including bass and crape and trout
Not just the settler colony of Maine, but this is the ancestral homelands of the Wabanaki Indian Nations also. Very nice public boat ramp for Unity pond with a nice family picnic area. Look for an eagles nest on your way in! 🙂

Unity pond and boat launch is home to my family and many other wonderful families. Please be kind and do not litter, especially in the water, do not leave dog poop, and please do not swim at the boat launch or fish off the boat launch pier. The town has placed a separate Dock where people should swim and fish pass the picnic tables. Sometimes boats need to get off the water urgently, and this creates an unsafe environment. Fishing and swimming here is as good as it’s been and many years thanks to the hard work of all those involved in keeping the lake clean, especially the lake Association.
Extremely calm and quiet. Had the whole beach and dock to myself all morning. Loons and many other birds were active all around.
