A truly wonderful organization of dog lovers. The service they provide is extremely professional and loving, and the facility is an absolutely gorgeous place for dogs to run and play with one another. Eva’s is totally different from the other places we went to look at in the city, but were never comfortable using. Our dog really loved interaction with other dogs but it was hard for her in our crowded and busy city environment. It was always so great to see her play happily with the other dogs in the videos and a couple times even in person. We could really see it benefit her temperament as well. She needed multiple long walks every day, so the activity schedule at camp was perfect for her.
Later in life she had health issues, and the staff was always great about handling medications and giving her lots of love and attention. Veterinary care was always available and high quality.
And transportation was very professional – always timely and courteous and the vehicles are clean and well maintained.
Sadly our dog is no longer with us, but she really loved going to camp even in her later years.
Thanks to Eva and amazing staff for all the good times she had with you and for all the peace of mind you gave us when we had to be away!

My dog Bari just spent a week at Eva’s Play Pups Countryside Camp in Union Dale, PA, and had an incredible experience. I adopted him through Korean K9 Rescue in October 2023. He was rescued from South Korea, where he lived outside on a short chain near a large puppy mill. He came to us with a lot of trauma and is still cautious around new people, although he absolutely loves other dogs.

This was our first time traveling without him, so I was understandably nervous. He had only done a couple of overnight stays at his daycare and can be sensitive in unfamiliar environments. Eva’s turned out to be exactly what he needed.

Bari truly thrived in the open countryside setting. He loves the outdoors, so being able to roam, run, and play with other pups in the fields and woods was a perfect match. We used the camp’s NYC van service and added the exit bath, which made pickup smooth and stress-free. The daily photos and videos they post on social media gave me peace of mind, and it only took him a day or two at camp to decompress and settle in. Once home, he transitioned right back into our routine and was his usual happy self.

The staff are clearly experienced with dogs who come from trauma. Eva was warm, honest, and grounded when I met her at pickup. She knows Korean K9 Rescue and genuinely understands the needs of our pups.

When the dogs are not outside playing, they rest in individual crates with bedding in a temperature-controlled kennel. I was so glad we had continued crate training after his adoption. It made a big difference in helping him feel comfortable in that setting.

An unexpected bonus was that Bari came home leaner and more fit. The camp recommends packing 40 percent more food than normal, plus an extra day or two just in case. They used every bit, including his daily dental chews. He was not overweight to begin with, but the extra padding he had is now gone. All the activity really showed.

This environment may not suit every dog, but for Bari, it was a perfect match. I’m grateful to have found a place where he can feel safe, free, and happy while we’re away.

Being active military, it’s hard finding places to trust with your dog. Jax is a member of my family and I want only the best. I’ve tried so many doggy daycare places for him, and Eva’s is truly his favorite. When my mom started taking him to Eva’s when I would be away, I found out this was the best thing for him. Jax is super active and loves nothing more than being outside. He comes home happy and tired and gets so excited everytime he gets to go back. Eva’s has provided the best care for him and Grizzly. I wish I had an Eva’s where I was stationed because Jax loves it so much!
