Beautiful park next to the Hudson. Covered seating came in handy since it poured while we were there. Trails go out along the water. Bike Trail, too.

Great area for views and walking alone, as a couple or with family. There is a bike trail but it is paved with gravel and not tarmac so you won’t get a smooth ride compared to the Hudson bike trails. However the scenery, paths and overall history of that area is worth a visit for sure

Lovely walking trail that runs along the Hudson River with views of the Esopus Lighthouse. There are also woodland trails with informational boards along the way identifying tree & plant species. Lots of benches for lunch breaks & little bridges over the muddy parts. Easy hike, only about 2 miles total.
