My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed this hike. We came shortly after Tropical Storm Debby passed through so there was plenty of water. The hike is well worth it to see the falls from all angles.

Nice size lot, cost is NULL a car to park in this day use area. Great hike up the falls, prepare yourself for stairs. Can get very busy on a weekend but not to bad if you go early.

Our dog loved this hike. There were a lot of other hikers and dogs, but everyone was very friendly. We did see several copperheads on the trail and the visitors did a good job of warning others that passed by so that everyone was informed. There are a lot of stairs so be ready to be hiking up and down. The view once you reach the falls is so beautiful! Our dog loved playing in the water, but it was very slippery. I’m not sure how we got turned around, but we missed the loop and ended up on the other side of the trail and got caught in the rain on our way back. Not a complaint about the trail – just totally our mistake because we were having too much fun! Bring NULL in exact cash so you can pay for entry into the trail. It’s an honor system and they ask you to put the cash in an envelope.

Great place for a family hike. Parking lot has 20-30 spots, so get there early. Basic bathroom facilities at lot ( no running water). Trail is wide and easy to follow, keeping site of the falls the entire way up. 1.7 miles to the top, r/t ~3.4 miles. Lots of steps, and it’s fairly steep the whole way up. Plenty of guardrails and good views. Please keep in mind that while you can see the water the whole way, there are no places to actually play around in the water (very steep and slippery, and a lot of signs telling you not to). All in all it was a fun hike for the family, and one we will do again. I’d recommend going early as it can get crowded quickly.

Enjoyed the waterfalls! This trail is VERY crowded. Lots of people with pets. This is a 3.4 mile round trip to the very top. But you don’t have to hike to see the lower level waterfalls, they are near the upper level parking lot. Definitely beautiful and worth the effort of climbing up.
