Padley Park

Padley Park is a small, peaceful park located on the south end of West Lake in Dalton Township. It offers beach access with clean water and a sandy lake floor, making it a nice spot for swimming. The park is quiet and rarely crowded, providing shade and sun with parking available for about 10 cars. There’s a portable restroom on-site, but visitors should bring any other necessities as amenities are limited. It’s great for kids and perfect for a calm outdoor experience near the lake.

Nice small private beach usually warmer water, nice place to take littles!
While probably the smallest Park I’ve been to in America, pros are: it is clean, quiet, never crowded, has shade, sun, a beach when the water isn’t too high, parking, and a port-o-potty. Cons: bring everything else you may need because the port-o-potty is the only convenience there. Oh… And don’t blink while driving because you will miss it! Overall an unexpected little surprise in the midst of all the crammed in lake houses.
This is the smallest park I’ve seen so far. It has beach access but is surrounded by private property beaches nearby and less than 200 ft wide. There’s a small parking lot right across the street and a portable restroom. Beach looks clean.
Clean water, calm, & sooo peaceful 🙌
Padley Park is located on the south end of West Lake in Dalton Township. The park is less then 100 yards in length. It allows access to the lake for swimming with a nice sandy lake floor. The park is split in two by West Lake Road. One half has parking for about 10 cars and the other is the lake. West Lake Road is not very busy and either is the park. It’s a nice spot for a swim.
