Really enjoyed going to this trail for a nice walk. Clean, flat, quiet, and most all of it was shaded. Reminds me of the Katy Trail in Missouri, which is paved with crushed limestone. Definitely worth your time!
Plenty of parking. Trash cans. Benches relatively flat. In and out 2 miles. Beautiful spot too bad it ends up to private property so you can’t go further.
For nice paved trailhead parking go past the athletic field and cemetery.Gentle incline from trailhead to end of trail, which is less than 1.5 miles. One bench along the way and one at the end/turnaround. Easy walk back since it’s gently down.From trailhead parking you can walk a gravel “path” back toward the athletic field. There is a short surface road section to pass the cemetery. The field to trailhead path adds the extra .6 or so round trip.
Nice flat straight walking path. One mile in and then you have to turn around and come back. Very buggy, bring your bug spray. Sign warns high infected tick area.
