This is a beautiful spot by the river. The owner has thought of everything, including a fire pit, grill, picnic tables, and even outdoor hot showers. They also offer rentals for camping chairs and river tube floats. The campsites are well-set-up, and the hayfield creates a sense of privacy between them, making it a family- and pet-friendly location. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to camp! I’ll definitely be coming back!
Super awesome Hipcamp area. Outdoor shower was awesome, the river is pretty nice for cooling off. The owner puts out a lot of amenities – insect repellent, lighter, chairs, citronella. They have wood, a portapotty. The only drawbacks are the rec park across the river, and that you have to haul away your garbage. It’d be a good idea to have a locked dumpster for campers to get rid of their trash.
The place was amazing and the host is great. Beautiful place – even more than the pictures and the host was very accommodating. Exceeded expectations in every aspect. We are definitely planning on coming back to spend more time there!
two very large sites a great distance apart. extremely well maintained, both a shower, and portable restroom plus a great host!
We had such a great experience here at Nelson’s! He is making this land into a true paradise for his grandchildren and family, but he loves to share it with you! Nelson was extremely helpful, providing us with wood and water and all kind of help. The campsite is really nice, there is a river you can float on with the tubes he has for you. It is very nice and well maintained, with beautiul furniture, games you can play, a fire pit, a tent to sit dry under and a real nice open air hot shower, everything looking so cosy. There are 2 campsites, far away from each other. and beautifully lid with lights. We could only stay 1 night but would have loved to be there longer. Thank you Nelson for your hospitality!
