This is a lovely park with paved trails. It connects to the Midland Valley Trail which takes you to a park, tennis/pickleball courts and Oaklawn Cemetery. One corner of the cemetery is dedicated to the victims of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. It’s hard to think about the sheer hatred of those that led the violence to the community. May the victims rest in peace.

Nice park for the most part. A little more litter than I like to see and it’s a nice mix of pill bottles, QT, and narcan.

Had some time to spare before going for dinner on a Sunday evening in May, and decided to go here, having read online that I could get a good shot of downtown from here. Actually got better shots driving south on Peoria, but still a very nice park. Easy to find parking either in the park’s designated area, or on the streets around.
