🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions
If you’ve spent time at an off-leash park, you’ve probably seen it:A parent strolls in with a stroller 🚼 or […]
Plaza Tract Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma, provides a peaceful and shaded neighborhood park for families and dog owners. While not a dedicated dog park, the park welcomes dogs, and owners often allow off-leash play in the open grassy areas when the park is quiet. Visitors appreciate the mature trees offering abundant shade, a small playground, quiet trails, and open fields. The community atmosphere, on-site poop bags for responsible pet owners, and ample seating make this spot enjoyable year-round. Note that after rainfall, some areas may be muddy, and poison ivy may be present along the trails. On-street parking is available around the park, making visits convenient.
Best park for younger kids.
Pretty park! Lots of shade. Nice lil walk around. No one there when we brought our dog. So we let her off leash to play fetch. No restroom at this park.
Small play area that looks unkept. No swings or much of anything even for the smaller kids to do. The grass was pretty high with mosquitoes to boot. They can have a security guard go around telling people to leave the park by 9 every day but can’t seem to keep the grass cut every couple of weeks. Tulsa doesn’t seem to give a crap about its parks and to be honest most of the people that live here don’t seem to give a damn about anything either. Sad situation all around.
Always a great place for the kiddos and yourself you can everybody while they play in the park. It has toys for lil kids like she 3 and also something for the bigger ones it’s shade mostly and it does have a curfew cause they come lock the gate but other than that it’s cool..
Knew this park along time, since our previous home was in 145th E. Ave.
First time I walk my dog here and go off trails.
There is a small walking track and a play ground for children.
There are picnic n lunch tables.
There is no formal public restroom!
The off trails, there are three maybe fours of them. One will lead you off the park and into possibility the next parcel.
There is a small creek that made it ways in the off path area.
Just fore warning, it looks like to me there are poison ivy on the big trees ON and OFF the trails!
Total steps for two rounds of walking ON and OFF the trails was around 3500 steps, according to iPhone!
Enjoy n be careful with the poison ivy!!!!
