If you’re searching for a dog park in Tulare, California, K9 Bane Dog Park offers a spacious, grassy area for your furry friends to run and play. Located at 407 N O St, this park is dedicated in honor of Police dog Bane, who served the local community. It’s a popular spot, especially in the evenings, with plenty of space for active dogs to enjoy themselves off-leash.
The park features water fountains accessible for both dogs and humans, and is kept clean and well-maintained by the city. While there are benches available for owners, be aware that there is currently no shade or covered shelters within the dog run, so bringing a hat or extra seating is recommended on hot days. Though agility equipment and small/large dog separation areas are absent, the open green space is a great place for social dogs and their owners to gather in Tulare.
Nice sized field, water fountains for dogs and humans, but zero shade in the dog area.

It is a beautiful dog park and was definetely needed as there were many dogs coming there in the evening.
It’s clean, has nice grass and space for the dog to run around but that’s about it.
If you are planning on going, bring a hat and maybe a chair as there is no shade and only two benches.
The park was a let down.
This park was made in honour of the Police dog Bane, who fell in his line of duty in 2019.
We were hoping to have a couple of obstacles atleast but I guess that wasn’t in the budget.
Instead of a little memorial plaque for the dog, the city officials thought they will just put a plaque of who permitted the job and then the builders who did it… It would’ve been cool to have some signage about why this park was made, little story etc. But this is just a personal opinion at the end of the day.
