Dog (and cat) friendly, gorgeous sites, but lots of trash. I watched two kids drive in, smoke, and leave a bunch of garbage while I was there. Really sad, but if you can get past the trash, this is a true blessing to the region.
Some of trail sections but really nice place to visit. Short hike to the gorge. Very beautiful!
this place is gorgeous… my friends and i went all summer long and swam. yes you aren’t supposed too go below to swim but it’s because people who didn’t know how to swim had drowned there. but it’s no bigger than a pond and it’s beautiful in the summer to swim… we don’t go swimming anymore because we don’t want to get in trouble. but the waterfall is gorgeous
The story behind this gorge is displayed on a board. You can appreciate the view without the leaves on the trees so the spring or winter is a nice time to visit young kids can pick out the remnants of the factory that used to be here and adult adults can get an appreciation for it. The small trail is easy for kids
So the waterfall here was lovely and the trail is nice but the neighborhood was a little more sketchy. Several cars with young men hanging out in vehicles. It didnt make two middle aged women feel terribly safe visiting. Trail is well groomed and falls running strong. Not muddy even after rain.
