I take my little here often, especially when it’s warm out they love the little splash pad area to cool down in. The park is always very well maintained and clean.
We had a really good experience at Kiwanis Park in Troy, MO. The playground was fenced in which made taking our two kids a lot more enjoyable. The playground could use a good cleaning, that’s why I knocked off one star. The trails were also very nice. The whole park was beautiful.
There is a nice walking trail in the park with lots of shade for warm days. I walked the outer loop in an hour, and there are several paths toward the middle, so I assume those can be used to shorten the loop.
I saw a few wildflowers along the way. There is a creek, and I found a small waterfall. The plants grow so tall there aren’t many views of the creek in the summer, at least. Not sure how it looks in the winter.
Recently visited to use the park and walking trail. Was pleased with the walking trail which is great to have. They seem to have a fairly elaborate disc golf course that tangles through the woods nicely, but I never played to know if it’s actually a good course. Park wasn’t crowded and has a good selection of equipment. The splash pad was running which my kids are excited to use in the future.
