Exceptionally well marked and maintained trails for hiking. In early September there was abundant beauty of wildflowers in the meadows.

Highly recommend. Beautiful privately run public access park. Great trails for easy and moderate hikes which connect into trails that got out of part of areas like Loyalsock Trail. Overlooks provide nice views of surrounding areas. Recently upgraded parking area. A lot of projects completed by volunteer groups and grant work.

Beautiful hiking area close to the city. There are some historical sites to visit that share some basic information. The trails are a mix of forest and meadow, and there are some overlook points that are clearly mapped and easy to get to. The hiking isn’t very strenuous. There weren’t any events occurring the day we were there but if you check their website they do have nature-related events scattered throughout the year. It’s not the most exciting park but it’s really good for what it is.

Rider Park is a great place to hike and view the natural beauty of PA. The several different hiking paths range from easy (beginner) to very difficult (expert) and are well maintained. Lots of parking at the entrance to the park plus an information sign/station that has free maps available. There are also rest rooms , a pavilion w/ picnic tables, plus a few scattered picnic tables about the area. A few of the paths lead you to breath taking vistas of the PA countryside & mountains. All of this & just a short ride from Williamsport, PA.
