Located on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, JBMDL Dog Park offers dog owners in Trenton, NJ, a spacious and pet-friendly place for their furry companions to play and socialize. The park features separate areas for large and small dogs, both providing ample space for dogs to roam off-leash and enjoy agility equipment. Visitors appreciate the clean grounds, readily available poop bags, and strategically placed trash receptacles to help keep the park tidy.
This dog park stands out for its wheelchair accessibility, large open spaces, and well-maintained amenities. While dog waste bags and bins are thoughtfully provided, guests should note that the water fountains may not be operational—so remember to bring your own water. Entry is limited to those with access to the active military base, making this a unique dog park in the Trenton area.
What is NOT in the details is this is on an active base and civies aren’t allowed.
Nice park, large dog and small dog segregated areas both decent sizes. Fairly clean, for the most part. Agility stuff is in decent shape. I just don’t get why people don’t clean up after their dog when bags & trash receptacles are RIGHT THERE!
Very spacious. Big complaint is that the water fountains don’t work so remember to bring your own water.
Love how big this dog park is!!!
Pretty clean dog park. The large dog area is, well, large… The base also supply dog waste bags if you forget to bring them.
