Great park. Fun to let the kids play while the wife and I walk around the trail there.

I appreciate the walking trail around the park. It’s only good to use on cooler days, as there is zero shade. It’s also only good for walking during the morning, otherwise there’s no parking and balls could be coming at you from all sides. Also, while I do appreciate the path, it is not very safe for people like me who struggle with ambulation. There are several places where the blacktop trail is buckled, causing trip hazards.

We are from out of town but we drove to this park even though it was quite a ways. Why? Nice green grass, bathrooms, paved walking area for us people and our pets. A playground is there as well but limited In size. There is a ball field next to it and a golf course, so it’s really maintained . The mountains in the background and small town quiet made for a really nice walk.
