This beach is nice. It is part of the state park so you have to have a state park pass to park in the lot. There isn’t much beach this year as the water level is very high. But there is a nice playground for the kids and picnic tables and grills around too.

Very nice beach park. The kids loved it. There’s a small playground and lots of sandy spots for the kids. Also there is an abundance of parking. Be warned – playground backs right up to the water so parents need to keep an eye on the youngsters who like to wander.

This small-sized beach is so convenient. A great place for a picnic lunch and some relaxation. There’s plenty of seating and shady/purposefully-shaded areas. There’s also a very nice modern restroom facility.
