Nice quaint spot. We stopped for the night and they made us feel right at home. The owner offered us fresh eggs and they provided us the WiFi credentials. There’s a gate at the front, very secure and also dog friendly. I’d stay again for sure. Thanks for the hospitality
I’m pretty bougie and this place is not, but I have never felt more welcome, safe or comfortable as I did at Cathead Creek. The owners are very kind and would do anything in the world to help make your stay the best it can be. I love it there and look forward to coming back.
Owners are wonderful people, they really give it the at home environment. Met the owners youngest son. Gotta say he was probably one of the most respectful 21yr Olds i have ever met. Good people, set up camp here for sure.
Just what we needed, when we needed it! We needed to evacuate WDW due to Hurricane Milton and decided to just head back to Baltimore. Cat Head Creek was convenient to I95, quiet and very accommodating. We arrived after hours and were greeted by the owner and her son who showed us to our campsite and even offered to help us set up. Although they offered restrooms, laundry and wifi, we were only overnighting and didn’t take advantage of any of it. We DID take advantage of the night sky with no light pollution. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen anything but the brightest stars and it was a wonder to behold! We took a quick walk around in the morning and enjoyed a lot of butterflies and a chat with the chickens and were then on our way. The campground is a work in progress, but the owners are working hard to get it ship shape and we would not hesitate to stay here again.
Very nice family owned RV park. Three miles from I-95. The most quite, peaceful place we’ve stayed in 3 months. We really liked Jekyll and Tybee Islands, well worth visiting. Thank you for your hospitality.
