Very quiet. Nobody seems to use this place. Clean portapotty, two rusty kids play structures, nice fishing lake, picnic tables, one bbq, trash cans. Cool breeze.

It is a very small park right next to a lake. It does have some park benches but it is city rundown. It does have some Plat equipment for kids but I wouldn’t recommend it

If you want a great straight flat path to run or bike, the Rt 66 branch of the Constitution Trail goes from Normal to Towanda. I usually meet friends at the Boyd Wesley Park in Towanda since it has a port o potty, parking and a pavilion. A great starting point for our run and it’s never crowded!

Always a wonderful time here….not much for the kids to play on, but very peaceful fishing and there is a pavilion for picnics and family gatherings and such! The town keeps the park very clean and plants very exquisitely placed in the perfect places for a great view!!! I stop here everyday for the pokestops too lol!

Nice place along Old Route 66 to toss in the fishing line. Didn’t see any picnic tables but would be a great place to have a couple. Small parking lot and easy to miss as you’re driving by. It looks like the access is blocked off and if you miss it heading towards Bloomington you got to go a long way before you can turn around.
