Beatiful area. Lake boat launches are semi-rundown but in mostly good shape. Lake wasn’t crowded at all. Plenty of room for everyone. Great place to go boating!

Lake is huge and great views all around alot to do and friendly people at the welcome center BUT WARNING! If you plan on heading toward the city thinking the 88 will get you there quick because its only 35 miles yes and yez but the route on the short end is 1 hour and 30 min to 3hrs DO NOT AT ALL haul large camper trailers or boats or haul anything at all down that road it is very small and barely enough for two vehicals and use extreme caution if your not familier with the terrain the drop off is steep and there isnt any rails so share the trail over all great sites and history down that trail and a awesome bikers bar toward the end and awsome food too youll know what i mean
