Beautiful park with a great walkway around the whole thing. Tolono Park District did an excellent job with the space.

Today , the park hosted their annual trunk or treat celebration. There were parents and kids everywhere having fun, costume contests, and excitement to enjoy for everyone. Good times.

Tolono Park District has provided a wonderful recreation and park environment for local families. Sports fields, playgrounds, walking paths, and a modern Pavillion round out a wonderful retreat property.. The Tolono Fun Day committee makes excellent use of the park properties for community-engaging events.

Boys loved it. 4 and 7 yrs old did not want to leave. “This park is fantastic.” 7yr boy with lots of playground experiences was overheard proclaiming on car ride home.

West side park is good and bad, it has good play areas for children of all ages a nice pavillion perfect for parties and such and tennis and basketball court. The only bad thing I have personally noticed that might be a problem is that the restrooms seem to be locked quite often and that can come to be an issue and other than that the later at night you get there are some other teen agers that like to come out and sometimes cause some issues throughout the day it’s a great place to go to have some fun

My father built this park many years ago. I remember going with him to guide the Cat around the land, moving trees, planting trees, helping to decide what recreational programs would be included in the park. I love the military memorial, probably because I am in the memorial. The fire works were great. The ball field, tennis courts and Boy Scout Cabin are very nice for the park. I spent many hours as a scout going to the park to camp, scout meetings and receiving my Eagle Scout. It is a great place to bring your family on the weekend. I enjoyed my last visit a great deal.

This is a nice park, it used to be the old Jr High for Tolono Unity. The eastern portion of the park serves as soccer and baseball/softball fields as well. The western portion had the children’s pay area which my kids love. There is a paved walking path around the whole park. There is a parking lot and this park also houses the unit 7 superintendent office.
