Reviews
Great neighborhood park across from Blessed Sacrament Church/School. Lots of trees and grassy areas for sports or a picnic. The playground is in good condition for a Toledo public park so it’s a popular place. Lots of easy parking in the lot by the playground as well as off the street along the periphery of the park. Only downside is there isn’t a bathroom. The park is very safe though because no area is hidden from street view, with houses facing all areas.
It was the right amount of park and the perfect walking distance. People were friendly, and the squirrels were entertaining. Plus, we saw a giant praying mantis. Bonus!
Things are ok here. Small playground. Good swings that aren’t too high for the little ones. Lots of grass and beautiful trees. A nice 5 minute walk from our house 2 streets away. Other amenities include grills but not one covered area with a roof for bad weather. Has a basketball court. And picnic tables and benches around. There is a church right across the street. Nice quiet neighborhood. The parking lot is VERY EASILY accessible for a person with a handicap to get to the playground and grills.
Oldest public golf course West of the Appalachian Mountains. Has Walden Pond for kids fishing and many other amenities popular with park goers.
This park sits directly across from Most Blessed Sacrament parish, providing a scenic space for both parishioners and nearby residents to enjoy. It’s unique round shape and placement add character to the neighborhood around it. It’s most notable feature is a colorful art installation in the center.
This park also features a new sign, a playground and swingset, a baseball diamond with wooden benches, two regular wooden benches, four metal benches, five metal trash cans, a charcoal grill, three wooden picnic tables and one plastic one.
A dedicated parking area with 31 spots exists, and many more parking spaces are built into the side of the park along the adjacent streets. A paved walkway cuts through the center of the park, which is abutted on all sides with regular street sidewalk, providing some limited walking and biking.
