I like to take our young boys here. The Savannah walking trail is a nice 1 mile hike. Just long enough to get some fresh air and listen to nature.

Best outdoorsy park in the area. Very friendly, it seems like a place that brings out the wonder and laughter in people. Great all ages escape. It includes an all ages naturescape playground complete with a zip line and Labyrinth. There is also a learning center comolete with a small museum of artifacts.

One of the best parks in Linn county. I have a memory of coming here as a kid on a school field trip to learn about the preserve (I specifically remember learning that cattails help filter the water lol) and at the end cutting my finger on a blade of grass. Coming back as an adult it was always still impressive.
