WARNING!!!!!Park is great but do not leave anything in your car. While parked at the spillway lot someone entered my locked car and took my credit and debit cards as well as a substantial amount of cash from a purse hidden under the front seat. Car was locked when I returned and no signs of entry or theft until I opened my wallet an hour later. Don’t know how they got in, but they did and were gone in less than 45 min and went on a spending spree in Dixon City.

This is a great state park in the Poconos. There are many recreational opportunities, such as walking, hiking, fishing, swimming, and boating. There is also a boat rental hut that sells bait.

The beach is small but nice, and the water is cold. It gets busy on summer weekends.

I always like to walk around the lake on the loop trail. It’s about 5 miles and not too difficult. The trail is mostly fine gravel.

Quiet, peaceful, and amazing views from the lakeside trail. 10/10 scenery, will definitely be going back when I get the chance.
