Freeman Prairie
Freeman Prairie is a beautiful prairie preserve featuring well-kept wide grass trails ideal for walking your dog. It offers easy access from parking areas and connecting trails, with scenic views of the Midwestern prairie tall grass. Visitors should be mindful of coyotes after dusk and are encouraged to pick up after their dogs. The terrain may be muddy after rain and can be a bit chilly in windy conditions, making it a lovely natural spot for a peaceful dog walk.

Beautiful little piece of wonderful.
Great trail for what it is– well kept wide grass trails in prarie preserve with easy access from parking or the bikeway & to the river trail. Keep an eye out for the coyotes after dusk, and please pick up your dog poop!
