I gave them my litter of kittens from some stray cat’s in my mobile home park. They did a good job but, I wanted to see them one more time before they left. I did contact Linda Muck for her to check in on them.

This organized really cares about helping animals in need. They are staffed almost entirely by volunteers. Not paid staff. They raise funds by doing events. Not corporations sponsored events and millions of investments.

The local area is lucky to have the services provided by Second Chance but after explaining my recent diagnosment of late stage cancer and that I live alone they could not help me with 5 kittens that I can’t care for any longer. They explained that they have too many cats right now but they have helped me in the past. Only 3 stars because of my disappointment and terrible luck which is not their fault

It’s been years since Elvis (now RayRay), my first pitbull, grabbed ahold of my forearm and started leading me out of the office, we needed each other and we knew it instantly we clicked right away. He adopted me not the other way around! The folks at the sanctuary were top notch, professional and you could tell they cared a great deal for the animals. It can’t be easy to let them go once you’ve put your heart into them especially knowing some of the horrible conditions some of them have endured. Much respect for all that you do, it is appreciated!!! For the record he is my first pit and I was a bit apprehensive at first but he is the text book example of a big muscular, goofy, gentile, super smart, affectionate, athletic, loyal, eager to please and every other wonderful trait that this breed presents when loved and cared for like a member of the family should be!

Back in April 2023 God brought to me by”Butter”. She has been the greatest blessing ever. I can’t imagine life without her. I believe she loves her forever home.
