Located conveniently along County Rd X, Tucker James Memorial Dog Park is a welcoming spot for dog owners traveling through or living in Thorp, Wisconsin. This beautiful, spacious dog park offers a quiet, open area perfect for pets to run off-leash and burn extra energy. Nestled beside a picturesque creek (outside the fenced area) and neighboring a peaceful farm with horses, the park has a small-town charm that locals and visitors appreciate. Parking is ample and the park is easy to access, especially for those on a road trip between cities like Green Bay and Minneapolis.
The dog park is fully fenced, letting your furry companions play safely. Picnic tables and benches are available for pet owners to relax while their dogs explore. While there isn’t much natural shade within the fence and water access is limited to the nearby creek, most visitors find the space well-maintained and enjoyable. For those seeking a pet-friendly break with plenty of room to roam in central Wisconsin, Tucker James Memorial Dog Park stands out as a restful stop off the highway.
It’s a nice park. Most people pick up the crap the pets leave. Wish it had a playground. But it’s a good place to let your pet run off energy.
Super cute little dog park in an equally cute little town. The dog park was small but beautiful. My boys really liked the little creek outside the fenced area and there is not much shade inside the fenced part. There was also no water provided, just water from the creek. Plenty of parking as well.
Driving from Green Bay to north Minneapolis, this place is almost halfway and easily accessible to let my pup out of the car and move around a bit. It’s not the cleanest, nor the dirtiest, and it’s often very quiet. The real virtue for me is its convenience
Awesome dog park here. Very spacious and open. Quiet area! Not much shade, so come out when it’s cool out. Picnic tables and benches, trash cans.
It is a nice dog park, and seems kept up pretty well. My dogs love to run around and play there. There is a farm next to it and Horses are close to the park. I Love looking at them, but so do my dogs. They get distracted by them and will start barking at them.
