One of the benefits of living in New Tampa is this park that has trails that connect to other parks and bike riding trails, walkways alongside the Hillsborough river and a boat launch with clean restrooms – today I witnessed otters, beautiful bucks, baby Sandhill cranes and more. This park is a great spot for a picnic, hike; nature walk, or just connecting with nature.

I’m sure it would have been great…IF it would have been open.

Had we known that all of the trail and fishing bridges were blocked with a sign that said, “Park Closed”, we would have not spent the NULL that we were made to pay for parking. The park rangers were right there…would have been kind of nice if they would have given us a heads up when they saw us park, and then get out of the car, walk to the machine and pay. Or maybe put a simple note on the pay machine (for parking) to inform park visitors that literally EVERYTHING people come for is inaccessible.

This isn’t cool at all. I want my 2 bucks back.

Great trails! This is the first trail I have ever ridden and I have to say I loved it! I highly recommend using the Strava app. I think we may have gotten lost if we didn’t have it. There are signs that lead you to different trails. We will definitely be going back and I can’t wait! Parking is only NULL for the day and they have a pay station.
