I am not one to ever write reviews but this dog park is too amazing to not post! The space is perfect-completely fenced in with both grass and wood chip areas and they also have a separate fenced area for smaller dogs if needed. It is incredibly well maintained and has a water pump with plenty of water bowls for fresh water as well as a ton of different balls, frisbees and toys to use. They even have poop bags, a first aid kit, hand sanitizer…literally anything you can think of including multiple chairs and benches for the humans to sit! Not only is the park amazing but all of the people I met were incredibly kind! I would absolutely recommend bringing your pup here and I will be back the next time I am in the area!
Nice area to get your pup’s energy out. Lots of other great dogs (and people) for your pooch to have fun with. I go there everyday.
This is a great park (at least the large dog side). It’s maintained solely by volunteers who appear to be doing a great job! The large dog area is full of toys, plenty of running space, drinking water and clean up supplies. There’s plenty of seating areas in the shade for humans and even a building where people can leave canvas bags and other things for sharing. The small dog side is very lemke in space and without the extra amenities. The people we encountered were very nice and watchful of their dogs.
I hesitated to review this dog park because I wanted to keep it together myself, it is that awesome. A huge dog park, fenced in with trees and grass. The “dirt” area is covered with wood chips. There are plenty of water bowls with an old fashioned water pump so fresh water is always available. A big box of tennis balls and plenty of places for dog owners to sit. The only expectation is that you pick up after your dog (poop). There is a smaller fenced area for small dogs or dogs who need to be separated from others. Even at tes when there are no other dogs there, my dog loves it. Room to run and lots of new smells.
Park is located behind the cemetery. Large space, mostly grass. Sections for large and small dogs. Pump for water seems to provide water year round, but requires a fair amount of pumping to get started. Trash and bags are scattered around the park.
Caretakers have added security cameras in case of issues that need tracking.
People were super friendly.
One downside was the leaf piles in the corners did make it difficult to find and clean up my dog’s mess .
