Nice clean park. Split into 2 sections, larger and smaller dogs. The only complaint I have is on large dog side there is a few sections near the place you sit in shade that is just dirt and dug down so it puddles. My genius husky seems to think this is a mini dog pool and always likes to find a puddle to lay in. Other than that, has benches, dog water fountains and disposal areas with bags to use. Nice and quiet here.
Very nice for what it is. It looks like some good thought and consideration has gone into this. The park is split up into (2) sections. Maybe to keep dogs from intermingling or large – small. But very convenient either way. There are water troughs for the dogs. Random toys throughout the park. There is a Pavillion to hide from the sun/rain as needed. There are several benches throughout the park as well.
A lot of this appears to have been donated by individuals, as well as, businesses. There are bags provided and trashcans too. There are random activities for the puppy to utilize. Very well kept. Very good find.! Thank yall…
Big enough for small dog and my dog had amazing experience since he was so tired of riding in my car all day every day while working. Very quiet and not much of visitors with dogs. So he got to run around and chilly lol.
Very nice place to bring your best friend. Park is clean and well kept with ample parking, covered seating, obstacle course, doggie fountain and separate areas for big and small pups. The breeze coming off the levee is nice in the evening.
My pup and I had a great time…only thing i would like to see is sand put around the water fountain. It gets pretty wet and muddy around it and some dogz like to dive right in the mud and shake…covering everyone and every dog near it with spots..but overall I really like the park…Wish Houma had one
