Bald River Falls bridge reopened 5/30/25 after being closed for nearly 2 years. The new pedestrian bridge is beautiful and provided an up close view of the falls. Unfortunately we were not able to get out due to limited parking. It was very busy when we went on 5/31/25. There are about 10 parking spots on the right after you cross the bridge. There are a few more spots on the left near Little Baby Falls. Pedestrians were walking down the hill on both sides of the road making this already narrow two way road into a one way path.
Beautiful and pictures doesn’t do it justice. People do swum but bring swim shoes as rocks may be rough on your feet. There is parking right by the falls but fill up quickly. If you pass up the falls there is another larger parking area with restrooms. Water is much cooler than the water in the rivers in the valley.
Beautiful sight. Perfect Sunday family drive to go see. This waterfall is another reminder of how pretty God’s creation is!

Really nice spot! The waterfall is right off the road so you can even see it from your car if you want to. The drive out to it is beautiful and makes for a great little trip. It can get a bit busy at times, but it’s definitely one of the easiest and most scenic waterfalls to check out without having to hike.
Such a great waterfall! Love the quick access, and like that you can get down to the waters edge. Such a great clean construction built around this waterfall. Worth the trip. Easy in and out. A must see. Great energy.
