Hiking trails are not as kept as other parks but I actually enjoy that. Definitely be cautious of the ticks. Hills are rolling and it’s diverse tree system from trail to trail. Observatory is gorgeous.

Deer Lake Park is, like, a totally groovy spot, truly a 5-star escape into the wild! What really blows my mind is the evident minimal human intervention, allowing the raw, untouched beauty of Mother Earth to just vibe and shine. When you’re cruisin’ the trails, you’re constantly serenaded by the symphony of all sorts of critters, creating an immersive and authentic experience. It’s the perfect place for a soul-refreshing walk with your tribe or your furry best friend, offering pure tranquility and a genuine connection with the natural world, dig it?

Really impressive park with tons to do! Multiple large playgrounds with soft rubber flooring. Multiple single occupancy restrooms that are well kept and clean. Super nice splash pad. Fair mixture of shaded areas. Plenty of walking paved paths. Disc golf course on the grounds. Walking path has workout stations along the way. Two ponds at least available for fishing
