Northwest County Dog Park in Tampa, Florida

Northwest County Dog Park is a favorite spot among Tampa locals, offering plenty of open space for dogs to run and play. This spacious dog park in Tampa, Florida, features separate areas for large and small dogs, giving every pup a safe environment to socialize off-leash. Dog owners appreciate the mix of turf and dirt surfaces, along with a splash pad and sprinklers that keep pets cool during hot Florida days.

The park is known for its welcoming community of dog lovers and regular visitors, making it a fantastic place to meet new friends for you and your pup. Nice dog park with plenty of room to run and sprinklers and a water spout to keep your pup cool. Quite a few regulars so your dog always has someone to play with.

The area can be kind of sketchy at certain parts of the day. When the park gets busy it can get kind of hectic since the seating is all clumped together.

I thought it was a nice place. My issue is,the part for small dogs was a longer walk than expected with no place to park near by while the part for larger dogs was right next to parking lot. By the time you get to small park, your little dog is already tired. They should switch the areas.

Great park for our dog to run! Some turf some dirt, and has a splash pad to cool off. All the owners we have met there have been welcoming as well, which helps with our new rescue pooch.
