Update: received a follow-up from the County that the park is officially open today. Changed my review to a 4 star for now. Will update again once we try it out 🙂 The County did an amazing job at following up via FB messenger!

We arrived and the park was locked. It looks like it could use some more shade for the dogs- but it’s hard to say since it isn’t open yet. There is a large dog area and a small dog area- but no connecting gate so owners with both dog sizes can easily go from one side to the other.

We sent a message to the Tampa Parks Department and hope to hear back when the park will be open for use. Once it’s open it should be a great place!

It’s a nice dog park, with separate areas for big and small dogs. Covered are with benches and a fan. There are water fountains, even with hoses. Only downside is humans not picking up after their dogs.

My dog loves this place. Clean, fresh water source, well kept, most of the dogs we have met are incredibly friendly. Benches for owners to sit and chat while the dogs play. I do wish they had more agility/course for the dogs to use regarding training playground.

This could be a very nice dog park with a small and a large dog side. There are benches under shade, water hose to rinse puppy feet, a poop bag station, and the water fountain works but not very well. My biggest complaint is that on the large dog side (which is where my dog played) people do NOT pick up after their pets which is quite nasty. There is literally poop everywhere. Pup Parents don’t be lazy, pick up after your fur babies so that this can be a nice place for them to enjoy!

The dog park is completely enclosed and there’s nothing harmful to you and your dog. Plenty of parking right at the entry. Fresh water is available with a short hose. Canopy provides nice shade with metal bench’s. It’s very clean and properly well maintained. No restrooms Overall it’s definitely a nice place. Photos if I can figure out how to post.
