Logan Gate Dog Park is a favorite destination among dog owners in the Tampa, FL area, known for its expansive space and welcoming atmosphere. Conveniently located at 7374 Monterey Blvd, this dog park offers both large and small dog sections, each fully fenced and equipped with plenty of grassy open space—perfect for pets that love to run. The park is well-maintained, virtually free of waste, and attracts a friendly, responsible local crowd. It’s a great spot for families, with a playground and restrooms just outside the dog area and ample parking available nearby.
This dog park stands out with its newly added shelter, extra seating in shaded areas, and a dedicated time-out fence to help calm excitable pups. There’s a separate, smaller gated area for dogs who need solo play, and a double-gated entry for safety. Both sides feature large, grassy fields, trees for shade, and water fountains, helping furry companions stay cool on hot Tampa days. Whether you’re searching for dog-friendly parks in Tampa or a safe off-leash area, Logan Gate Dog Park offers everything you and your dogs need for a fun, relaxing outing.
Best Dog Park in Hillsborough County! Big, open grassy fields, plenty of water for the dogs, virtually “poop free” because people clean up after their dogs. Trees were planted for shade as well. There are bathrooms and a kids playground as well.
July 2019 – Newly added shelter on the large dog side. Recently added seating in the back for shade for morning visitors
This is our dogs’ favorite park. Lots of big open space for them to run around and enjoy themselves. The large dog and small dog sides are equally large with the same amenities. Highly recommend.
Visited for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Very spacious, plenty of places for the humans to sit in shade. Only negative is that there is only one water fountain for the large dog park. But met some great people and dogs and my girls are tired out. Will def go back! Plus it was grassy with very little dirt (which is a plus).
Pretty big park. Very spacious for my dog that likes to run long distances. Also had a smaller gated area in the park for dogs that may want/need to play solo. A gate connected the parks for the small and large dogs. It flooded a bit after the storm but hopefully it’s something that clears up. This was my first time there so not sure if it normally floods or not
Huge park with plenty of room in the large and small dog sections. Always well maintained and the other people that go there are friendly. They have a little time out fence if you need to separate your pup to get him settled down. Has a playground and bathrooms outside of the park with plenty of parking.
