Great park for an event, walking, baseball, playing tennis or if you want a decent playground for kids. Bathrooms are clean & always stocked so if you’re in need of a bathroom while walking the freedom trail it’s a great option. Parking lot is newly paved & spacious.
I am not entirely sure what Lions does other than offer parks. With that said, I Have gotten the pleasure to experience multiple of their parks in my local area since i was a child. They have always stood out with excellence even amongst Metro and State parks. The parks typically offer almost [every outdoor activity one might be looking for.] They are always extremely well maintained and they typically offer plenty of parking and acreage for community events or family parties too. This one in particular is the pinnacle. It’s more about what it doesn’t have rather than does have. It offers, walks, restrooms, picnic area, pavilions, playgrounds, and almost every sport. Im not sure if they have a dog park or a skate park, but dogs on leash seem welcome.
This park is so safe and peaceful ! I love taking my granddaughter to play on the swings and other fun equipment like monkey bars and musical xylophones and drums ! Speedy loves it too because it’s a dog on leash friendly park !
One of our favorite local parks. Great playground structures for the kids to use. Lovely walk around path. Clean bathroom facilities. And it’s really close to the library.
Great facility for a Grad Party! Clean and inviting. Outside amenities were a surprising addition
