It needs some routine maintenance, but not a bad place for a walk.

I enjoy walking my dog and reading the markers and memorial to the veterans.

This is a pretty okay place to bring the family and have a get together. There are two fairly large covered Pavilions with tables and benches. There are multiple electrical accesses all around the park as well as water access. There are also restrooms here. A large playground with a playset and a splash pad is available for the children. There is a volleyball Court as well. There are several BBQ Pits around the park for those that wish to cook or you can bring your own. Parking is not the greatest but there is some designated parking spots. It is a first-come-first-serve area so get here early if you wish to get a spot as There Are No Reservations.

Very clean, kept up park. Wonderful, sturdy playground for kids that is mostly shaded. None of those horrible wood chips in sight! Playground is big enough for plenty of kids to play safely. Splash pad holds about 2″ of water in the middle, but with proper adult supervision it’s very unlikely that’s even an issue at all. My daughter loved that held some water so she could lay down and be a mermaid. The only thing I could complain about is that on a busy, summer day, there would probably not be enough seats close to the playground. There are only two benches and one table. Overall awesome though! 4 stars *EDIT* Seems like they have fixed the 2″ of water that was staying on the splash pad

My grand daughter injoys herself at the parkl. If everyone would pick up after them selves it would be nicer than that.
