Love stopping by during our fall deep creek trips. The kids love skipping rocks and we enjoy the easy trails for them. The aviary is a plus as well.
clearly marked and very well maintained trails. perfect for a morning hike. bathroom at parking lot was also clean.
mountain bikers all trails at deep Creek State Park our designated mountain bike trails according to the maps and reinstated by the lovely ranger. even though Google maps doesn’t show the trails on the map they are there look at the photo below. they may not be all good for first-time mountain bikers but avid mountain biker should look into them especially Cherry Creek loop. there is free parking at the ranger station and at the Cherry Creek loop trail head. definitely worth exploring somebody put a lot of time in the making of these mountain bike trails
