Attended a wedding at the lake. Nice event! The park is really clean. Traffic entering the park was backed up. It’s about a 10-minute queue. This event was no charge to the attendees, but there is a charge to enter the park.
It was very nice there! Dogs have to go pretty far to be able to swim and the bathrooms could be a little cleaner but overall very nice!
Nice little beach area with a couple of kids play sets with slides. One is small for little ones and the other is big for the larger kids! Plenty of grass space and picnic areas! Fishing is allowed except on the rocks by the beach. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards here too. We had fun! It’s NULL a person to get in if you live out of state… as we do. But Veterans and kids in child seats are free.
Very nice and clean State Park and Beach. If you enter after 5 pm there isn’t a charge. Nice sandy beach, walking trails, clean restrooms, large pavilions to rent and lots to do within the State Park.
A great time at the lake! This location offers scenic views, a few great swimming locations, lifeguards on duty, a couple of playgrounds for the kids, and excellent food selections in the area. Cheap entry for Maryland Residents. Not much more for out of state visitors.
