Can’t wait until this is totally finished so do not have to travel on road so much! Very nice walking, jogging, riding a bike and rollerblading. Would like to see a few more spots to park where it meets a road so you can pop on and off trail. They have finished the trail from Hartford Rd to Walnut St. in Sunbury.
Great they have this! Only issue is finding the parking via Google maps.
Long but fairly easy ride
Awesome trail. Rough in a few places but overall great surface…. mix of asphalt, limestone and dirt path. We started at beech street trail head and turned around to head back at Brecksville station road bridge. Would not recommend starting at breech street because there are so many other places to park. This one was kind of secluded. One car when we started at 3pm and no cars when we finished at 8pm. About .21 further north you can park in the cascade lot. Was a beautiful day for a girls night out!
It’s open! They’ve finished the segment of the Ohio-to-Erie Trail that takes you from Cherry St., across Big Walnut Creek, to the Hartford Rd., from where you can ride to Centerburg or beyond. It’s beautiful! The views from the bridge are particularly nice! Thanks to Delaware Co. Parks and whoever else got this done! 😁
