Great park, great trail, great bike trail.
Very shady in Sunbury and soon will be able to go from Sunbury into Galena since workers are connecting trails. I am very sad some of the people in Sunbury do not follow rules. A yellow tape has been put across the end of this trail to keep people safe and off dirt and cinders as they prepare to blacktop. Unfortunately people are going around the tape with children in wagons. What are we teaching our children? Please respect yellow tape it won’t be much longer!
I’m not a hunter, and I’m not a huge fan of guns but I want to be safe and I’m always down for learning new things. This is a wonderful facility with a huge space for training and events. There are multiple ranges of varying distances. They vary between hand guns and rifles. There is a clay pigeon range and two different archery spaces. I have used all but the clay range. Took my son because he is an aspiring hunter. This was a great experience for him, and empowering for me. Will buy an annual pass so we can make this a regular adventure. The staff was extremely helpful as well.
