This is the best tome of the year to visit. The views are spectacular.

Very quiet and calm water. It’s swampy and mossy with some debris but nothing you can’t kayak around. There’s plenty of water to venture around. Dogs loved it, kids loved it and there were a few awesome locals. Great spot.

I think this is the only boat ramp around so it’s a bit of a monopoly but it wasn’t crowded at all. Great place to take off and you can grab a map from the visitors center. Buoys mark the waters. Just use your google maps to see where you are on the water!
