This is in a GATED Community that did not let us drive in. Walked to the “trail head” which was blocked off by a locked gate. Not sure why this is even on google maps to be honest…

The perfect balance of intensity and distance for hiking. There are multiple vantage points to appreciate the valley that surrounds them. Definitely a must for anyone who enjoys exercising or exploring new hiking trails!

Not much shade, but a nice hike early morning or late afternoon. A good secluded escape from the city, but close enough to not be a huge commitment.

Saw a bunch of animals too. Nice for a nature nerd like me. Interesting to see the remaining fire damage, but nice to see plants starting to grow back already.

The remains of a deer I came across made the “Dangerous Animals” warning sign a bit more heed-able lol.

The hike was steep, challenging and fun. I could see Burbank airport from multiple stops. The sunset was gorgeous! I didn’t have enough time to climb all the way to the top before it got pitch black. I’ll have to come back another time.
