This is a great (and big) dog park! It’s double-gated for off-leash dogs. There are two sections for large (30+lbs) and small dogs, both of which have plenty of benches, bags for waste, tennis balls, a water fountain/bowl and agility structures. It is very well-maintained, and the people/dogs we met were friendly and courteous.
Hours are dawn – dusk, and there is a parking lot available for those with town stickers (take Peters Lane). It’s also available via hiking the blue Roosevelt Forest trail, if you park elsewhere.

Beautiful place especially to train your dog. The residents are really nice!!

Had a great time hiking with the family at Roosevelt forest. The dog park looked very clean and had Alot of room for the dogs to run around. So far always seen nice well behaved dogs. And there was no garbage on the ground or dog feces
We ate our lunch at the picnic benches on the pavilion.

Beautiful dog park that I’ve seen. Large play area completely fenced in with ramps, and jumps, and rocks to climb for our best friends. A water drinking area and doggie bags and disposal area. Very nice setup. I’m impressed and glad Stratford has this near the walking trails of Roosevelt Forest.

Nice, wooded dog park in the town forest. Technically the forest is limited to residents only.
Mulch and dirt ground. Trash, bags, and water (once it gets above freezing). Separate sections for large and small dogs. The park also has a few agility pieces.
Strangely, the park was mostly empty on a Sunday afternoon with nice (albeit chilly) weather
